Please join us for a discussion surrounding the use of the Felts Field Water Runway (KSFF 03W/21W) on the Spokane River. All interested pilots at Felts Field and Spokane River recreational users are welcome. This event will be recorded with live stream available through Zoom. Login information will be provided to registered guests on the day of the event.

Speakers include WSPA Lifetime Member and Felts Field seaplane pilot, Addison Pemberton and Gayne Sears, President of the Spokane River Rowing Association (SRRA).

6:40-7:00 Spokane River Rowing Association - Overview and typical river use. Rowing times and safety measures implemented on the water.

7:00-7:30 Washington Seaplane Pilots Association - Overview of seaplane operations. Typical patterns of river entry and departure. Safety concerns for pilots landing on or departing from the river. Accident prevention and supporting a safe flight onto and off of the river.

Accessing Felts Field

Those unfamiliar with Felts Field should plan to arrive between 5:45-6:05 pm at the East entrance off Rutter Avenue. A volunteer will be present during this time to let you in to the gate. Refer to the diagram below for getting to the Pemberton Hangar and please drive slowly and with caution as there may be active aircraft taxiing on the field during these hours. Park in front of the hangar, and avoid parking on active taxiways.
